#29 - Renovation Project in Abruzzo (Atessa)
This time we are in a wonderful countryside locality located in the outskirts of Atessa.
The house - built in the late 1970s - is structurally sound but in need of a complete restyling, both inside and outside.
New flooring, plastering, plumbing, electrical, bathrooms, doors and decoration. Externally the facade will be completely repainted including the renovation of the roof eaves and new gutters. The external staircase and the terrace will be totally renovated including new beaten iron railings. All the windows will be replaced with new double-glassed high-insulation ones.
This project will include the installation of solar panels for the production of hot water (for the underfloor heating system and sanitary water) and photovoltaic panels for the production of electricity; this "eco-friendly" house will be almost energy self-sufficient with very little usage of fossil energy.
